How listings work here

Here's a plain explanation of how this directory works, since we'd rather tell you upfront than have you guess.

Every listing is free

Being listed on BerksMont Business costs nothing. A business doesn't need to pay, sign up, or do anything at all to appear here with its name, address, phone number, website, and services. If your business is already listed and you haven't touched it, that's normal; it just means nobody has claimed it yet.

Claiming your listing

If you own or run a business listed here, you can claim it by verifying your email address. Once a listing is claimed, it gets a Verified badge, which tells visitors that the business behind it confirmed the listing is really theirs. Claiming is free and doesn't require signing up for anything paid.

Featured is the only paid option

The one paid tier on this site is Featured, billed at $150 per year. It's yearly only; there's no monthly plan. Featured adds a written description, posted hours, a link to your website, and priority placement above unpaid listings in your area and category.

Paid placement is always labeled

Any listing that appears higher because it paid for Featured placement is labeled as such. We're not going to bury that fact in fine print. A high position on this site can mean a business paid for it, and we'd rather you know that than assume it reflects something else.

Ratings and reviews are not for sale

Star ratings and review counts are never affected by whether a business pays for Featured. A business can't buy a better rating, and paying for Featured doesn't change the reviews shown on its profile.

No ranking promises

We don't promise or guarantee any business a specific rank, and we don't claim a listing is "the best" in its category or town. Featured buys visibility, not an endorsement.
